Let us walk you through the step by step guide:
1. Set up a Metamask account wallet on Ethereum(ETH) network
- Get yourself an Ethereum wallet to store all your cryptocurrency and NFTs before register an OpenSea account. This is the list of wallets that are accepted by OpenSea here.
- Go to Metamask.io, one of the most popular NFT wallets that people commonly use to create their cryptocurrency wallet.
- Download it as an extension to your browser.
Click on Create New Wallet. - Fill in the details.
2. Load Your Wallet With enough Cryptocurrency (ETH/ WETH/ USDC/ SOL):
- The main cryptocurrencies on OpenSea are Ethereum (ETH/WETH), SOL, USDC, and DAI.
- The most common cryptocurrency used for trading NFTs on OpenSea is ETH/WETH.
- There are many choices of cryptocurrency exchange. Load your MetaMask wallet on Ethereum via a trustworthy exchange such as Token Binder.
How to Purchase Ethereum (ETH) via Token Binder?

3. Create your OpenSea account
You will need to create your OpenSea account first before you start minting in the OpenSea NFT marketplace. This is the guide on how you create your account on OpenSea:
- First, go to the OpenSea homepage Connect Wallet tab and choose which type of wallet you are connecting to the OpenSea marketplace.
- Next, this will direct you to digitally sign for approval, confirming that you would like to connect your wallet to the OpenSea marketplace.
4. Connect Wallet and Get in to OpenSea NFT marketplace
- Once the wallet is approved and connected, go to OpenSea Profile and update your information in Settings.
- After you have set up your OpenSea account, now you’re ready to browse your favourite NFT on the OpenSea marketplace.
5. Browse, buy your first NFT on OpenSea
- Search or explore your favourite NFT according to your interest
- Select it, then click
- “Buy Now” : transaction will occur immediately after your digital signature.
- “Make Offer” : transaction will wait until the buyer either accepts or rejects your offer. If you end up needing to cancel your offer, you will need to pay a gas fee in order to cancel your bid.
- Sign to approve the transaction.
- Please be aware that your newly purchased NFT asset may take some time to be transferred in your OpenSea account.
- You may go to the OpenSea Menu -> Account -> Profile -> Collected tab. This is where you can find all your NFTs that you have purchased.
